What King & Main collects through this website and our phone line, why, and what we do with it.
Last updated 22 October 2026
The short version
- We only collect what you send us, what you type into our tools, and visits counted without cookies.
- Cookieless analytics only. No advertising pixels and no tracking cookies on this site.
- We never sell or rent your information, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.
- Ask us any time to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.
01Who we are
King & Main is a digital agency in Richmond Hill, Ontario. We build websites, run local marketing and set up Claude for small businesses. We follow Canada’s private-sector privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
This page covers this website and our phone line, (289) 210-9876. The work we do for clients, including any of their customers’ information we handle, is covered by the written agreement we sign with each client.
02What we collect
- When you book a call: your name, email, phone number, business, website, the services you pick, your time zone and whatever you tell us. If you planned an app with our & first, your plan comes with the booking.
- When you send a form on our site: on our websites page, your website or Google listing and your email or phone number. On our Marketing & More page, your website, your email and what you pay each month now.
- When you use the free website check: the website address you enter. If you ask us to email you the report, your email address, and whether you’d like us to go through it with you.
- When you plan an app with our &: everything you type or tap in the planner, the website you give it, and the plan it builds.
- When you call or text us: your phone number, the texts and photos you send, and if you leave a voicemail, the recording and a written transcript of it.
- Technical basics: your IP address, held for a short time in our server’s memory to stop our tools and forms being overused, and the standard request logs our host keeps.
We use PostHog to see which pages people visit, what they click and how far they scroll, and which websites go through the free check, and to keep the app planner conversations, so we can make the site better. It runs without cookies and stores nothing on your device, so there’s no cookie banner, and it doesn’t keep your IP address. We don’t use advertising pixels or tracking cookies. If that ever changes, this page will say so first.
03How we use it
To reply to you, hold the call you booked, run the check and the planner, and send what you asked for. When you book a call, we email you a confirmation with the calendar invite, a reminder the day before and an hour before, and a short note if we miss each other. If you ask us to go through your check results, we get in touch about them.
That’s all. We don’t sell, rent or trade personal information, and we won’t email you about anything else unless you ask.
04The free website check
The check reads the public pages of the website you enter, the way a visitor’s browser would. It also asks Google for its speed test results and for the business’s public Google Maps listing. It never fills in or sends anyone’s forms.
Results are held in our server’s memory for up to a day so the same site isn’t checked twice, and aren’t saved anywhere else. If you ask us to go through them with you, your email and the results come to our inbox. We don’t publish results or contact the business you checked.
05The app planner
The planner reads the public pages of the website you give it and looks up the business’s public Google listing. What you type, what it read from the site and the plan so far are sent to Anthropic’s Claude, which writes the &’s replies. Anthropic doesn’t use what we send it to train its models.
We keep each conversation so we can read it and make the planner better. If you email yourself the plan, your email address and the plan come to our inbox too.
Your plan and the conversation are also saved in your own browser so you can pick them up later; clearing this site’s data in your browser removes that copy. A share link carries the plan inside the link itself, so anyone you send it to can open it. We don’t store share links.
06Our phone line
Calls to (289) 210-9876 ring through to us on a mobile phone, which shows your number. If we miss your call, we get a text with your number. If you leave a voicemail, it’s recorded and transcribed, and the recording and transcript are emailed to our inbox. Texts and photos you send reach us the same way.
07Who else handles it
We use a few service providers to run this site and our phone line. Each only gets what it needs to do its job:
- Cloudflare serves the website and passes what you send through it on to our servers.
- PostHog counts visits and clicks on this site, without cookies, and keeps app planner conversations.
- Anthropic runs the & in the app planner.
- Google runs those servers (the forms, the check and the planner), the speed test and the Maps lookups in the check and the planner, hosts our email, holds the calendar your booked call goes into and runs the Meet call.
- Resend sends our emails about your booking, your check report and your app plan, and delivers form messages and voicemails to our inbox.
- Twilio runs our phone line: calls, texts, and voicemail recordings and transcripts.
These companies store information in the United States, so your information is processed outside Canada and may be subject to the laws there.
08How long we keep it
Check results: up to 24 hours. App planner conversations: up to a year. The copy of your plan in your browser: until you clear it. Bookings, emails, form messages, texts and voicemails: as long as we need them to deal with your request and keep reasonable business records, then we delete them.
09Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email us at [email protected] and we’ll reply within 30 days.
If you’re not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
10Changes to this page
If what we collect or how we use it changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
